I started this blog July of last year, and boy have a lot of things changed. My friends are different, my outlook on life, hell, even my hair. And after all this time, I realized people take life so seriously. Of course, we only have one life to live (depending on what you believe), but we should all life our lives to the fullest. I mean, living in New York City, there are so many endless possibilities and always something to do. I've also realized that as a person, there are many sides of me. The side who just really likes to be alone and shop or sit in the park and reflect on life. There's the me who likes to cry in bed with a candle lit on the table beside me. And there's the me who really enjoys the company of other people and keeping myself busy with things at all times in order to stay positive. It's normal to be that way if you are too, and as long as you are happy, no one can tell you anything!
If I could have it my way, I'd party all the time but we know that's not realistic. What I do want to do however, is balance the headaches college gives me with finding good food to eat, making memories with people to look back on and laugh about, and doing things I've always wanted to do. I want to have stories people would love to hear, no matter how mundane or outrageous they are.
With that comes posting about my experiences on this blog, which was super hard for me in the past, but I'm filled with so much excitement now for things that are going to happen and I want to document my life more than I have been. So with all that being said, my blog is going to change, just like my life has. For real this time. Like I'm totally serious. Guys, believe me. We're all here just trying to get our shit together, and you can watch me do that here.
